Hot on the heels of his first EP, Widdy dusts off the Sick Trumpet again and gives us another 4 blasts of eccentric northern tuneage. It might be chucking it down outside but title track 'organised' is so bright you might catch a tan just listening to it. As organ melodies dance around each other, the rest of the tune will give your feet plenty to think about and it's medically proven that it will cause the corners of your mouth to raise…. In these days where hip hop continues down the path of bling and hoes, Widdy steps up to remind you all what the music is really about – nodding. As informative as it is funky, 'the Nodding Song' provides you with an idiot proof guide to moving your head up and down in time to the music. But if that's too complicated for you then feel free to join in with the dance floor action this is sure to cause! Thundering along next is 'Trampled' – a huge carnival affair with a generous amount of percussion and brass that should stampede through your speakers. It almost sounds like the soundtrack to an action scene from one of those old time epic films - only much catchier… And rounding things off is latin palm slapping fest 'Palmada'. With a song that has a title meaning 'clap', it's not much of a surprised that the chirpy flute melodies are broken up with a quirky clapping solo before the horn section brings it home at the end. Another fantastically eclectic EP from that cheeky scamp!
